Habitat for Humanity homeownership provides
secure affordable housing to low-income individuals who have been
living in substandard rental units. Habitat for Humanity believes
homeownership is a vital step in creating self-esteem in both
families and neighborhoods, and is the most basic way to break
generational cycles of poverty.

Habitat for Humanity is an equal opportunity
program. Families are selected based on their level of need, willingness
to partner and accept responsibility, and their ability to pay
the mortgage. Individuals from all races, sexes, and creeds are
encouraged to apply.
