Thanks for your continued dedication to our mission. If you've attended our orientation or built with a Habitat affiliate within the past three years, you're all set to sign up for more build days. If it's been longer than three years since you built at a Habitat site, you may want to attend another orientation or check out our Things to Remember page for a refresher course.

Remember, all construction volunteers must be at least 16 years old, and every two 16 or 17 year olds need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Please sign up for no more than one build day per site per month so that we can get as many volunteers out to the sites as possible.

Sign up for Build Days

1. Pick a site where you want to volunteer. You can learn more about each site on our projects page.
2. Check out our online calendars and click on a day that says we need individual volunteers. You will be instructed to email your build day request to volunteers@habitatboston.org . You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours, and a more detailed email with site directions and a waiver form a week before your build day.

Other Volunteer Opportunities

Construction volunteering is always our most popular volunteer opportunity, but we often need help behind the scenes, too.

• Help out in our office a few times a year (email the Volunteer Coordinator if you'd like to be contacted when we need office volunteers).
• Join a committee of interest and help with family selection, homeowner education classes, site selection, or Newton fundraising and events.
